You can't avoid the "No Weapons" rule.....

                 I always felt that toy guns were something I would avoid. Not that I don't believe in the Right to Bare Arms when you are an adult. But because as a kid, they tend to use these guns on each other. So I dont allow them in the house. I explained to Zack many time that "shooting" his brothers is not right. But regardless they find other toys that they make believe with....even their own hands. just how it is.
 Guns are Dangerous. Period. In fact all Weapons are.....unless you are taught to use it right. He understands this now. When he is old enough he will be taught.

     


                Other weapons are always somehow put in toys that make his imagination run wild. He recieved a few Iron Man cars for his 4th Birthday that had Rockets on them and they shot darts. this is where he became clever one day during naps. I was most likely dealing with Dylan when he came up with something I never would've imagined. At some point he got into my bathroom and took my tampons out.


   Later that day I was cleaning up the rooms and stepped on a tampon out of the applicator......I kneel down and see an arsenal of tampons under my bed. What in the world!  I knew it was Zack. Dylan was never alone in my bathroom.....so I call him up to my room and ask:
"Zack.....did you do this?"
Z: " Yes Mama....I found rockets and I shoot them!"
Me: "Well Zack these are not Rockets....They are Mama's things"
Z: "Not Rockets? but they Flllyyyyyyy when I throw them!"


Yes Imagination at its best........He will definitely turn all shades of Red when I tell this story later in his teen years.
