Now I am sure that this doesn't just pertain to boys. I have heard even little girls will run around the house butt naked and giggle away. Especially during the Potty training years. I have been exposed to this lil trend with Dylan. He has been a trip with the whole "I don't want to wear the pants you picked for me....I am my own person" attitude.
Once he realized that the pants don't come off just by me, that he can also remove them himself....I now have had a pile of jeans, sweatpants and PJbottoms all over his room. The funny part is that he will run around the house yelling "Where my pants Mama?" I have come to the conclusion he must have a favorite pair.
Every morning he will stroll in my room wearing his older brothers pair of jeans,,,,,the legs of them flopping away and he hiking them up like "Urkel" hands always holding the waistband for on false move and they will fall around his ankles and most likely trip over himself. They are also on backwards about 80% of the time.
I swear one day he will join a nudist colony. Ha.
I will embrace that little booger in anything he does to be honest. Just that right now with him running rampant with no clothes on is a challenge. He tends to grab him butt and run away on his tippy toes laughing away as though this whole deal is a game.
He has this strut about himself, like as though its his way or no way and he damn proud of it. You never know what's next with him.
Since he loves to have no pants on you would think that potty training him would be easy.....but lil PITA will run away when I mention the potty....of course peeing across the kitchen floor while he is at it!
Or he will put pants on.....go hid (no pull up on either) and take a poop.
there are good days and bad, he is about 85% peeing in the potty and maybe 10% pooping, so naked boy is truly giving me a lesson in "Stubborn"
I do have to thank God that he is not doing other things with his poop....I have heard HORROR stories and I cringe at the thought even now.
So maybe having a Semi-nudist on my hands isn't that big of a deal, just another joyous bump in the road of motherhood.
If he is anything like my Brother......This whole "let's get naked" trend may just be his Mantra into adulthood. ( sorry Wally, but I will do my best for him not to turn out like you!) Not Kidding Love You Bro!
